Nukhufest is an audience powered film festival where Nukhu members watch, vote, and help determine which films rise to the big screen. The Top 10 Finalists will screen live at Cinema Village in Lower Manhattan during Nukhufest 2026.

We consider films, shows, documentaries, music videos, experimental work, and genre bending visual stories from independent creators around the world. Selected works become official Nuvees on Nukhu, where members can watch, vote, and help determine the films that advance to the live finalist screenings.

Films of various genres and runtimes are considered. Finalist programming may include short film blocks, feature film blocks, curated favorites, filmmaker Q&As, panels, and special programs.
