Storytelling with Levity | Q&A with Shaina Feinberg
Shaina Feinberg is an author and filmmaker from New York City.
Her most recent film, My Mom’s Eggplant Sauce, is a short doc that uses comedy to explore generational trauma and mother-daughter relationships. It was the opening film of the Oscar-qualifying Aspen Shortsfest and had an international premiere at Hot Docs. In 2019, Shaina was named by Indiewire as 1 of 25 queer filmmakers to watch. She has written for The New Yorker, The Washington Post and has a regular column in The New York Times.
