Nukhufest 2026 comes together one final time to celebrate the filmmakers, films, and community that shaped this year's festival.
Join us at Studio Exhibit on September 19 for the Nukhufest 2026 Awards Ceremony + Festival Finale, bringing together filmmakers, Finalists, guests, supporters, and members of the Nukhu community following seven days of screenings and programs at Cinema Village.
The evening culminates in the live announcement of the 2026 Best Nuvee, selected following Nukhufest's audience-powered competition, and the presentation of the Nukhu Awards Ball to this year's winning filmmaker.
Throughout the festival, audiences help determine which films rise through the competition, culminating with the Top 10 Finalists screening at Cinema Village from September 11 through 17. The Awards Ceremony is where that journey reaches its conclusion.
The evening is also a chance to reconnect with participating filmmakers, celebrate the work presented throughout Nukhufest, and close out the 2026 festival together.

The Nukhufest Awards Ceremony will take place on September 19 at Studio Exhibit and will culminate with the announcement of this year’s Best Nuvee. The ceremony brings together Finalists, filmmakers, supporters, collaborators, and members of the Nukhu community for an intimate close to the festival.
Nukhufest is audience-powered. Nukhu members vote throughout the year to determine the Top 10 Finalists, and the Best Nuvee is awarded to the audience favorite.
