The NUKHU FOUNDATION awards video artists with grants up to $25,000 to create and/or complete video media projects. Funding levels and terms vary by program.

If you are looking for direct support from the Foundation, start with our grant programs. If you already have a project and need a structure for tax-deductible fundraising, explore Fiscal Sponsorship. Both pathways are mission-driven, but they serve different needs.
Grants
Apply for funding opportunities created, awarded, and administered by the Foundation for independent video artists and film projects.

Fiscal Sponsorship
Raise charitable contributions for an eligible project through the Foundation's sponsorship framework while retaining creative ownership of your work.

- Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
- Support may include donation processing, project administration, and fundraising guidance.

Every film needs a first believer.
Our biannual grant program helps emerging video artists develop, produce, or complete new work. Our donors vote on shortlisted proposals; the Foundation board approves awards and coordinates production support. The lead recipient receives at least $500, with two $100 runner-up awards in each cycle.

Fiscal sponsorship allows individual artists and emerging arts organizations to raise funds under the NUKHU FOUNDATION's 501(c)(3) charitable sponsorship, opening doors to supporters and funding opportunities that typically require nonprofit status.
This is a separate pathway from receiving a Foundation grant. Artists remain responsible for fundraising for their own projects.

Bring us a script, treatment, production, or footage seeking completion. Applications are free and the cycle runs twice each year.
Fiscal Sponsorship
Build your own fundraising strategy for a qualifying independent film project or community media organization using the Foundation's sponsorship services.
The Nuvee Starter Fund and Fiscal Sponsorship are distinct programs with separate eligibility, review, approval, and contractual terms. Grant support is subject to Foundation review and availability of program funds. Fiscal Sponsorship does not guarantee donations or grants from third-party funders.
